Merced, CA July 11, 2003 โ€" A baby born in California's Bay Area is exposed to more toxic air pollution before he or she is a month old than the federal government says is acceptable over a lifetime.
Boardman Mitchell Partners is helping the San Francisco-based government agency, the Bay Area Air Quality Management District (BAAQMD), which hopes to educate at least 1.2 million area students over the next two years about air quality issues and solutions. BAAQMD oversees โ€œSpare the Airโ€ for a seven county area in and around San Francisco.
